Submitting Reimbursement Forms
I’ve seen a number of requests for reimbursement forms and Rich’s address, so I figured I would post an update.
First download and print out this form.
Second, fill in your Name, Address and sign the form. From there you can submit receipts and Rich will fill in the blanks. If you drove your own car you can fill in the mileage information or just include a note with mileage and Rich will kindly fill that in for you. Don’t forget to sign the form.
Third, if you have a scanner, you can scan the completed form and receipts email it to zakeyus@comcast.net. Or you can mail it to:

Community Life Group on Facebook
This will probably be the last update for a while. I will post an update when it is confirmed where the next gathering will be, but that’s about it for this time around.
Between now and then, it would be great to keep in touch with everyone, so rather than re-create a lot of what Facebook has, we’ll just jump on that bandwagon.
I’ve created a Facebook Group for community life folks. I’ve invited the friends I know from this time around and times past, feel free to do the same.
I’m keeping it a “private” group for now, since as we continue to use it, we may share things about the next gathering or prayer requests that we would like to keep in the team.
I’ll be on top of approvals, don’t worry.

Bad Servant Life Information
Incorrect information was sent about servant life launch times.
Congregations should, trust their printouts and follow the times they originally recieved.

Food near the convention center
The Hotel New Orleans right across the street from the convention center is staying open with food until midnight pizza, burgers, chicken fingers for as cheap as $2-3.00. They are also open for lunch with very cheap prices. Tonight they are also going to have root beer floats and they also sell all kinds of snacks candy bars, chips, etc.

Pay your Bill
If you are staying extra nights, please stop by the Community Life office, Room 203, to pay your invoice if you have not already done so. Invoices should be paid prior to the end of the Gathering.
Reimbursement Forms
Reimbursement forms for travel are available in the Community Life office from Rich.
Evaluation Forms
Please stop by the Community Life office to pick up a brief evaluation form. We appreciate your feedback on your experience at this Gathering. Completed forms can be returned to the Community Life office anytime before Sunday morning.
Incident Reports
Reminder to turn in all incident cards/reports to the Community Life office daily.
Bags & Mugs
If you have not yet picked up your Gathering bag and mug, stop by the Community Life office today.

Update for Thursday July 23
Sorry for the lack of updates, its busy down here at the convention
center, lots of questions, lots of worship, lots of goodness.
CHANGE Bishops Conversations
The printed times in the guide book are wrong. They are at 9:00am,
11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm. The guide book has them printed on the 1/2
hour.
Motor Coaches
There are no motor coaches allowed in the French Quarter. Groups
should coordinate with their hotel to determine how they will be
picked up.
Where is there food?
A number of our hotels have food in the evening. Specifically, the
Sheraton, the Hilton Riverside, the Marriott New Orleans and the
Astor. The Hotel Monteleone is offering breakfast, snacks and buffet
supper.

You can pick up a gathering bag in the Community Life Office :)

Update for Wednesday July 22
Safety in the City
A member of our community has already been the victim of a crime. This brother or sister in Christ is fine, but I’m sure would appreciate your prayers for healing.
Please continue to stress and to follow the gathering suggestion to travel in groups no smaller than three.

That gathering is sponsoring a prayer ministry for staff. If there are things you would like to offer up to this ministry, you can email us at the address below.
Where are the Maps?
The gathering did not print maps in the guidebooks this year. You should encourage participants to get maps from your hotel. Events are listed by hotel in the Guidebook.
Lost and Found
Lost items can be dropped off at the info booth in the Convention Center. We will collect them, but Safety and Security will be responsible for lost items. If someone is looking for a lost item, have them call the info line.

Important Parking Change
Parking at the Convention Center is NOT available as advertised. There is another event scheduled that has take precedent over our event until Tuesday. Alternative parking is being negotiated on Sunday morning.
My suggestion is they try to gain entry into Lot F (at the corner of Caliope and Convention Center Boulevard) with our pass.
It’s the paved lot in the middle of the map, not the gravel lot.
You will need a yellow pass from the community life office to park here, when you are close, give us a call at: (504) 383-5569 we will have one ready for you.
We are supposed to be able to park for free. HOWEVER, at this time, I cannot guarantee that you will be able to exit after 5 PM. They lock down the parking lot. If you have volunteers or team members who experience problems getting out, please call the Convention Center Security at 504-582-3040.
